Owl Class Blog
Owl Class is a mixed Year 4 and Year 5 class. The class is taught by Mrs Flewitt on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Mr Crowhurst on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Mrs Cooper is our teaching assistant.
Longshaw Estate Visit
We visited the National Trust's Longshore Estate in Derbyshire to put our mapwork into practice. We learned about contour lines and how to make these into a 3D model and drew our own map of a walk around the area. As well as this, we learned how to use a compass and about different map symbols and what they look like on the ground.
